If you are new to Heritage Makers (HM), simply go to www.PublishABookOnline.com and create a free account. I will send you further getting started instructions at that time.

Step 1: Log into your HM account. Click on “Template Gallery” (upper, right hand corner). Use the middle, drop down menu to search for which size Canvas template you would like to create (16×20, 20×20, or 18×24).

Step 2: Click on the name of the Template that you like and click “Get this template.”
The template you chose will go into your “My Templates” folder. From there you can browse for more templates or click on “Start My Own.”

Step 3: Open your project in the Studio Editor. Click on the Photos tab (bottom right corner) and upload photos if you don’t have them uploaded already.

Step 4: Click on the photo boxes on your project, then drag and drop your favorite photos into the “drop photo here to swap” box.

If you photo does not drop into the box, perfectly squared, you may need to adjust it by going to your Tool Box and click on the “Adjust” tab to move your photo.

Step 5: You may also double click on the text box and change any text. From here, you can click on the Tool Box and change the text font, color, etc…

Ordering: Simply hit the “Publish” tab (at the top) when you are finished. Contact me to pre-purchase our amazing Buy One, Get One HALF OFF Sale (until Monday, Dec 7, 2009)! At check-out, you will use the credits you already purchased. Your canvas will be Gallery Wrapped and will ship right to your front door in a matter of days!

Now, for 15 minutes, write everything you can about his photo: who’s in it, where does the picture take place, what smells do you remember from when this photo was taken, why did you take the photo, etc.

Goal: Get yourself thinking about the storybooking process. Storybooking is not only about preserving photos, it’s about preserving the whole memory. And without the words, the pictures don’t mean anything to the reader.
